Internship 2008
We are wanting to have a group of 6 college students to invest their time to be interns for this summer. The internship will last 6 weeks. You will be able help spread the Gospel to a religiously dark country, that is dominated by Muslims and animists.
Dates:
June 2nd -9th - One
week of intense training in Atlanta, GA at the Our Generation Missions
Training Center. Practical outreach to Muslims in Atlanta.
June 10th Departure for Burkina Faso via Morocco
July 25th Return to USA
- We will be teaching English classes (I get asked almost everyweek
if I can teach people English. We will have multiple classes in
English. I believe that this will bring many people of all different
walks of life into the church. If we have the personel, I think we can have a couple hundred people come for these courses.)
- Take 1-2 hours of French class each day.
- We will do Vacation Bible School and possibly some revivals.
- Have the opportunity to be involved in a church plant.
- Be active in discipling new believers, preaching, teaching childrens church, youth meetings, evangelism, etc.
- This is not a definite, but we would like to plan a few days in Morocco. I have a good friend there doing a great work.
- We will also sleep under the stars in a very remote village.
- Of course, we will have fun and see much of the country.
God has given us a great vision and passion for Burkina Faso, West Africa and the world. We want to see God raise up a generation that will work toghether to reach Africa and the Muslim World. We would like for you to be a part of that.

Yet to be determined but it will most likely be in June or July for 2 weeks.
Bro. Dean Hamby and Mrs. Karen Hamby will be leading the trip. Bro. Dean in the assisant director of Macedonia World Baptist Missions. He is also the African field director. Before becoming assistant director, Bro. Hamby served 10 years in the Ivory Coast.
- Do Vacation Bible Schools in various locations
- Be involved in ministry. (Singing, preaching, teaching, etc.)
- Sleep under the stars in a very remote village.
- Be highly involved in Evangelism.
